Back in December we were delighted to announce the launch of the Documatics Training Academy.

The Academy got off to a fantastic start with a full house at all eight of our group Solicitor and Secretarial sessions in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway. The feedback has been excellent and has given the Academy a strong foundation to build upon.

Users were very interested and excited about our plans for training and our focus on continual product development. Our development team are continually enhancing current features and developing new features within the Evolve platform, therefore a primary focus of the Training Academy is to keep all our users up to speed on new developments. We understand that continuous training is the cornerstone of any successful implementation and efficient usage of our software.

The group training sessions are structured so that all core areas of Legal Evolve are covered. There is also a large focus on all the new features of the latest software upgrade. Walking through the product from start to finish is a great refresher for some users and also an encouraging start to others who may not have yet implemented certain parts of Legal Evolve.

 

Hands-On Experience:

 

We believe that the key way to effectively learn how Legal Evolve works is to use it! Therefore the focus of our training sessions is to ensure that all users attending achieve maximum hands-on exposure to all topics being covered. In order to achieve this, we provide a laptop computer for each user during the training sessions.

 

In-House Training:

 

This is an option for users who have specific requirements and key areas to focus on. Again, in order to ensure each participant experiences a very hands-on practical training day, we provide laptops for each participant, for the duration of the training session.

 

Group Training:

Workflows:

One key area that we are encouraging our users to develop is the implementation of Workflows. Through the workflow engine the software allows you to procedularise repeditive tasks for specific case types. In our training sessions we explain this system functionality in great detail and guide attending users through a “hands-on” workflow. This allows them to see the benefits this will bring to practice management procedures. We have enhanced Legal Evolve to the point where the system 'almost manages cases' for you. This key feature will enable you to develop a much higher level of risk management.

  • Refreshed. Going through the system from A-Z is a great revision for some users and an encouraging start to others who may not yet have got to implement certain features.
  • Faster. Learn those little shortcut keys that will make your life easier.
  • More efficient. See how inputting client and case details correctly at the beginning has an immediate knock-on effect on how efficiently your system works.
  • More Accurate. Did you know that at the click of a button you can compare differences between edited and original documents? Even when the edits are done by outside council!
  • Managing Risk. Try out the new upgraded Undertakings module and see for yourself how to better manage your Risk.
  • Flying through emails. Improve your skills and make sorting your emails even less time-consuming.
  • Using precedents. We introduce new tools that help you get your precedent banks up and running.
  • Creating briefs. Many users were not generating Briefs. Since the training, they are now experiencing the dramatic time-savings this fantastic feature allows.
  • Understanding workflow. We give you an insight into how our Workflow system can efficiently manage your cases and make the system work for you. Implementing Workflows will help you reduce Risk.
  • Up to speed. We will be introducing some brilliant new features that will be part of your next upgrade including Libraries, a new Brief Editor and sophisticated Reporting tool.
  • Involved. It is our philosophy to constantly evolve with our customers. This is your chance to have your say and to meet other users.
